Changes in weather conditions always create fascinating images.
Above: A foggy day in 2012.
Above: This is one of the highest possible tides - a rare six metre tide. The Clyde Fisher rides high and is well moored to the dolphins which are almost covered by the tide.

February is a bad month for weather on the river Tamar, this shot being taken of the Cumbrian Fisher alongside the jetty in Feb 2014 in a very high tide. Very low atmospheric pressure causes the tide to be even higher than it would normally be. However, the dolphins have never been completely covered.
Above: This photo taken in March 2016 was in conditions of very strong northerly wind. At low tide, much more of the dolphins are visible.
Above: This is typical of the conditions in good weather at lowest tide level (0.5 metres) when as much of the dolphin as possible becomes visible.
