Removing the old jetty - Jan 2023

The following images, taken on a misty, damp day, 25 Jan 2023, show the removal of part of the old jetty. Much time has already been spent disconnecting each part from the whole. Sections of the three main pipes have been cut to length by oxy-acetylene cutting equipment. The crane lifts each severed piece onto an adjacent barge for disposal.
