Yonderberry Oil and Petroleum Supply Jetty

Removing the final parts of the old jetty.

After waiting for high tide, the rig has raised its legs to full height and is moved slowly towards the shore to prepare to remove the final parts of the old jetty.

There is still some of the old pipelines to remove before the concrete tops can be taken off.

With the tide now out, the rig plants its feet into the mud, but they don't need to go far in before they hit bedrock. The remaining bare piles of the old jetty are seen sticking out of the water on the right and the barge for collecting the rubbish waits nearby.

Finally, we can see daylight between the two jetties, previously interwoven.

The remains of the old piles still stand proud of the water, waiting to be removed.
